Bio:

Fiona was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993 after a short career in education, teaching law and liberal studies.

Fiona trained at Parker Rhodes Hickmotts and has happily stayed with the Firm all her legal working life.

Fiona has always specialised in Dispute Resolution and has, over the years, assisted hundreds of clients.  She has always favoured a plain, straightforward approach and strives to demystify the law so that clients represented by her fully understand the legal process.

Fiona became an Equity Partner in Parker Rhodes Hickmotts in 1996 and the Managing Partner in 2004. Under her leadership the Firm has increased its market share and its fee income.

Bio:

Rachel has recently joined us at Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors but has worked in residential Conveyancing for 22 years having started as an office junior at a local firm and qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2007.

Rachel currently deals with both Freehold and Leasehold residential sales, purchases and re-mortgages, right to buy, transfer of equity, new builds, buy to let and shared ownership.

Bio:

Joanne began working in Conveyancing in 1995 as a secretary for a local firm of solicitors before moving to Parker Rhodes Solicitors in 2000.

Joanne attended College 1998 – 2000 and obtained Part I of the CILEX qualification.

Bio:

Tayba Ibrar has recently joined the firm as a Residential Conveyancing Executive and works within the Residential Property department.

Tayba holds Level 4 CLC qualifications in both Conveyancing and Probate and is currently studying towards the Level 6 CLC Conveyancing qualification with the aim of qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer. She is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, Mirpuri and British Sign Language.

Aimee joined Parker Rhodes Hickmotts in 2017 and has been working within the Residential and Commercial department for five years. Aimee is hoping to study further, to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer in the near future.

Awais joined Parker Rhodes Hickmotts in January 2025 in the Residential Conveyancing team.

Awais studied Law at Sheffield Hallam University before completing my LPC LLM at the University of Law in Leeds, graduating in March 2025.

He is currently working towards qualifying as a Solicitor.

Bio:

Hannah joined Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors in 2024. In 2022 Hannah qualified as a Paralegal and in 2023 Hannah qualified a Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme.

Hannah deals with a range of Immigration and Asylum Cases.

Bio:

Claire obtained a BA (Hons) Criminology degree from Sheffield Hallam University in 2005.

After travelling through Australia for six months she began working at Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors in July 2006.

Claire is accredited as a Senior Caseworker and Supervisor under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme.

Claire deals with the whole range of Immigration and Asylum Cases, but has particular interest in Asylum matters and claims involving unaccompanied children.

Bio:

Aisha obtained a Masters in Law from the University of Sheffield in 2003 and completed the legal practice court at Inns of Court School of law in London in 2004. Aisha then began her training contract at a busy legal aid firm in NW London in 2004, joining the roll of Solicitors in 2006 and specialising in Criminal defence.

In 2015, Aisha left full time practice to focus on other areas of social justice. Aisha spent 2016 volunteering with a human trafficking NGO in Cambodia and then spent much of the following years focussing on the refugee crisis, working for charities providing aid in Calais. Aisha made the decision to return to legal practice to combine her skills and experience, retraining in immigration and asylum practice.

Aisha is accredited as a Senior Caseworker and joined Parker Rhodes Hickmotts as a Consultant Solicitor in February 2024.

Bio:

Megan joined Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors in January 2015 working within the Immigration Department as a Secretary. In April 2019 Megan became accredited at Casework Assistant level of the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme, and in December 2019 became an Immigration Senior Caseworker.
