Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors is looking to appoint a Solicitor or other suitably qualified individual for their Property Department.

Parker Rhodes Hickmotts is a long-established firm that has a total team of around 50 employees. The firm has a thriving Property Department dealing with the whole range of property transactions, from residential conveyancing to all aspects of commercial property law. We are looking to build on our success in this area and to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join the team.


  • Property Solicitor (or experienced fee earner) of between 0 & 8 years PQE.
  • Experience in dealing with a range of clients from individual property owners to landlords, partnerships and companies.
  • Experience in dealing with business sales, lease assignments, new leases (acting for both landlords and tenants), licences to assign, commercial sales and purchases, lease surrenders and extensions and other general commercial property matters in addition to residential matters to include sales and purchases, declarations of trust, shared ownership, transfers of equity, new build work.
  • Prior experience in residential conveyancing and general commercial work (in terms of partnership agreements & company formation) would be welcomed.
  • Proactive organised individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Drive & enthusiasm to help build the department and the willingness to participate in marketing initiatives.

Conveyancing Assistant

Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors are seeking to appoint a Residential Conveyancing Assistant within our busy Residential Conveyancing Team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ recent experience working within Residential Conveyancing together with a Grade C GCSES (or above) in both English Language and Maths.
Training will be given for the post and the duties will include:-
• Preparing and providing quotes;
• Sending out Contract Packs;
• Completing matters and producing the exchange and completion letters;
• Preparing SDLT Forms and applying for searches;
• Preparing Transfers/Contracts/Leases and other legal documents;
• Preparing Completion Statements;
• Dealing with Requisitions on Title;
• Preparing AP1’s and the Land Registry documents;
• Updating clients and agents
In addition to the general admin work involved in dealing with clients and third parties to an excellent standard.
Starting salary will be £17,000.

Trainee Immigration Caseworker

Parker Rhodes Hickmotts Solicitors is looking to appoint caseworkers to join their busy Immigration Department in Rotherham.

Parker Rhodes Hickmotts is a long-established firm that has around 50 employees. We have been undertaking immigration work for a number of years. Currently we have seven fee-earners and four support staff in the department.

The successful applicant will receive training across all areas of Immigration law and casework, with particular emphasis on asylum law. The applicant will need to pass the Law Society (IAAS) Accreditation at Level 2 (Senior Caseworker) within 12 months.
Starting salary will be £17,000.

PRH Solicitors are looking to recruit legal assistants and secretaries to join their busy team.

The roles will include providing typing and administrative support across the firm but particularly assisting with Immigration casework, Conveyancing and Wills Trusts and Probate. Whilst the roles are initially administrative, there may be opportunities of progression for suitable candidates.

Previous experience and a working knowledge of a law firm would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

The candidates should have a professional manner and be educated to GCSE grade C/5 or above in both English and Maths.
