Legal Aid Agency Peer Review

On the 6 August 2021 PRH Solicitors were awarded a rating of Excellence by the Legal Aid Agency during the firm’s Peer Review of asylum cases.

"Positive Findings

1. File management: In all cases file notes were clear and easy to follow. This made it easy to find out what had happened in the case and what were the planned next steps.

2. Asylum claims and appeals: The work seen demonstrated an excellent understanding of asylum law, policy and procedure. The Provider clearly understood: the importance of having a detailed understanding of the asylum claim, as well as other related issues.

3. Advice: The Provider’s detailed understanding of the issues, together with a good understanding of the law, policy and procedure, enabled the Provider to give clear, succinct advice on the merits of claims, identifying to clients the key issues that needed to be dealt with."
